Flooding & Sandbags

Flooding Emergency
Hamilton County Emergency Management will not issue sandbags for any purpose other than flood fighting. When a flood statement has been issued by the National Weather Service (Flood Advisory, Flood Watch or Flood Warning), sandbags will only be available during specified times which will be posted on this website and/or via social media. Please Note: Any loading, transport, unloading and/or use of sandbags is your responsibility and at your own risk!

The National Weather Service Advance Hydrologic Prediction Service website can be a useful resource for current weather conditions and up-to-date information on local river levels during a flood event. As a reminder, it is NEVER safe to drive or walk into flood waters.
