Whether you are creative, enjoy working with kids, want to be outdoors, or like to learn new things, come and see how you can use your unique talents and interests as a Park volunteer. It's a great way to give back to your community, meet new people, and help preserve Hamilton County's natural and cultural heritage for the enjoyment of this and future generations. Listed below are a few of the various volunteer opportunities the Hamilton County Parks Department offers.
Come help out at our special events and have a blast! Our events include: the Cool Creek Concert Series, Coxhall Gardens Concerts in the Centerpiece, Potter's Bridge Fall Festival, and Little Haunt on the Prairie.
Cool Creek Nature Center
Here's your chance to help with beautifying the grounds, caring for Nature Center wildlife friends, tending native plants in the greenhouse, cleaning, or educating others about nature.
Help clear trails, remove invasive plants or simply pick up trash. These serve as great family, group, and class volunteer projects!
For additional information about becoming a volunteer please contact Steve Sneath or call 317-774-2509.
We accept volunteers of all ages. Volunteers younger than 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent.
