Current Status

10/3/2016: Bridge 261– East 106th Street between Allisonville Road and Hague Road is complete as of today, October 3rd, 2016.  A small amount of incidental work remains, including paving the pedestrian path, but it will be completed under traffic.  The pedestrian path will remain closed until paving is complete.  Please proceed with caution through the work zone when workers are present.

Project Location

Bridge #261 carries 106th Street over Cheeney Creek in Delaware Township just east of Allisonville Road.

Project Scope

Replacement of existing bridge with cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab. 38' in length and 55' in width. The bridge cross section will include 3 traffic lanes (2 westbound & 1 eastbound) and a 10' path.

Reason for Project
Replacement of the structure is necessary due to structural deterioration and inadequate roadway width.


Design and construction costs will be locally funded.
