Current Status

10/30/18: Construction is now underway. Northbound State Road 19 is now closed between State Rd. 32 and Logan St.. There are also lane restrictions in place on the Logan St. bridge itself. There are no left turns allowed from Logan St. to southbound State Rd. 19. Please be aware that backups will occur in this area during peak travel times.

Bridge 207 carries Logan Street over the White River in downtown Noblesville.

Reason for Project

This is a joint project between Hamilton County and the City of Noblesville.  The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened to provide pedestrian connectivity between downtown Noblesville, River Walk, and Federal Hill Park.

Project Scope

The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened.  A pedestrian path will be added to south side of the roadway and separated from vehicular traffic by bridge railing.  The existing bridge railing will be replaced with railing to closely match the proposed railing along River Walk in Noblesville.  Decorative lighting will be installed along the bridge and pedestrian path.

  • Construction Start Date: October 1, 2018
  • Construction Completion: September 2019 est.
  • Construction Cost: $4,500,000 est.
Design and construction costs will be funded locally.  Construction costs will be split between the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County.
