2/6/2020: Construction on the bridge is complete.    
 

Logan Street east of SR-19 is now open to all traffic with no major restrictions or lane shifts. Northbound SR-19 between SR-32 and Logan Street is also now open to all traffic..

Project Location

Bridge 207 carries Logan Street over the White River in downtown Noblesville.

Reason for Project

This is a joint project between Hamilton County and the City of Noblesville.  The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened to provide pedestrian connectivity between downtown Noblesville, River Walk, and Federal Hill Park.

Project Scope

The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened. A pedestrian path will be added to south side of the roadway and separated from vehicular traffic by bridge railing.  The existing bridge railing will be replaced with railing to closely match the proposed railing along River Walk in Noblesville. Decorative lighting will be installed along the bridge and pedestrian path.

  • Contractor: ICC Group (construction); R&M Electric (lighting)
  • Construction Start Date: October 1, 2018
  • Construction Completion: late-December 2019
  • Construction Cost: $4,500,000

Funding

Design and construction costs will be funded locally.  Construction costs will be split between the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County.
