Current Status

9/13/18: Construction is ready to begin. Upon construction, the northbound lanes of State Road 19 will be closed between State Rd. 32 and Logan St.. There will also be lane restrictions in place on the Logan St. bridge itself. There are no left turns allowed from Logan St. to southbound State Rd. 19.

Project Location

Bridge 207 carries Logan Street over the White River in downtown Noblesville.

Reason for Project

This is a joint project between Hamilton County and the City of Noblesville.  The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened to provide pedestrian connectivity between downtown Noblesville, River Walk, and Federal Hill Park.

Project Scope

The existing bridge will be rehabilitated and widened.  A pedestrian path will be added to south side of the roadway and separated from vehicular traffic by bridge railing.  The existing bridge railing will be replaced with railing to closely match the proposed railing along River Walk in Noblesville.  Decorative lighting will be installed along the bridge and pedestrian path.  This project is in the scoping phase and more information will be available as the project develops further.
