Structure #21037 - 206th St. over Finley Creek

Current Status

9/9/21: Construction is complete. 206th Street between Centennial Road and Lamong Road is now open to traffic. Please proceed through this area with caution as construction crews may still be onsite finishing up punch-list items.   
   
 Local traffic will continue to have access to their homes, while thru traffic is asked to utilize the posted detour route.

Project Location

Structure #21037 is located on 206th Street over Finley Creek between Centennial Rd. and Lamong road in Washington Township.

Reason for Project

Existing dual CMP pipes have deteriorated at various locations, and the structure is at the end of it's life span.

Project Scope

Proposed new design will entail two 12ft lanes and 4 ft shoulders, with combined roadway width of 32 ft.  It will be able to accommodate Q100 flood event with additional 2 ft of freeboard for unexpected flood events.

  • Construction Completion: September 8, 2021
  • Construction Cost: $800k

Funding

This project will be funded using revenue from the County Option Income Tax fund.
