Spring Sensation at Coxhall Mansion
The Coxhall Guild, an affiliate of Friends of Hamilton County Parks, Inc., invites you to attend its Second Annual Spring Sensation. A collection of highly respected professional decorators, florists and individuals will design and display spectacular tablescapes and décor that will provide inspiration when hosting your own special memorable events. Guests will also be given the opportunity to peruse unique offerings from local specialty retailers, find respite in the third-floor ballroom, and enjoy adult beverages (at an additional cost) while listening to melodic entertainment performed by a member of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra. This unique event will be held at the stately Coxhall Mansion on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Coxhall Mansion is accessible, and the mansion features a guest elevator permitting convenient access to all floors of the historic residence.
The $25 cost-per-person to attend this second annual Spring Sensation includes up-close viewing of a variety of unique tablescape designs and décor, an opportunity to meet local small business owners, and an unguided walk though of the iconic mansion to personally visit with the various retailers showcasing their exquisite merchandise, made available for purchase during this special event. Proceeds from this social gathering will allow the Coxhall Guild to further its support of the Friends of Hamilton County Parks, Inc. Such support has resulted in construction of the Coxhall Gardens Outdoor Classroom, the park's Butterfly Garden, the donation of numerous bronze statuary pieces exhibited throughout the Children’s Garden and the installation of a large-scale kaleidoscope on display in the Children’s Garden. Several, large decorative urns cradling seasonal plantings that adorn the Coxhall Mansion patio and those located at both park entrances were also provided through donations generated by the Coxhall Guild’s fundraising efforts. Attendance at this and a limited number of special fundraising functions hosted by the guild throughout the year, provides far more than just the inviting social experience guests enjoy!
