Voting Methods

On Election Day
The Primary Election Day has been postponed to June 2nd, 2020. Polls will be open from 6a-6p. Many locations are different from last year, so check your polling location.  Bring your ID (Indiana Driver’s License, Indiana State ID, U.S. Passport, or U.S. Military ID)

Vote Early - In Person 
8 Satellite locations have voting May 26-30 at 8 locations.  Voting at the Judicial Center is also available on June 1st from 9-12.  Check here for details: Vote Early - In Person.

Vote By Mail
Mailed Ballots must be received by noon on June 2nd.  Check here for details: Vote Absentee

Voter and Ballot Information

Use the Registered Voter Information system to look up precinct specific information.  Many Polling Locations have changed for 2020, check where your location is.       

You can:

  • Verify that you are a registered voter in Hamilton County
  • Verify in which precinct you are registered
  • Obtain the address and a map for your precinct’s polling place
  • View your precinct’s list of candidates, a few weeks prior to an election

Poll Worker Information


  • Inspector, Clerk, and Judge Training for 2020 Primary Election is at the Judicial Center.  Please call 317-776-8476 to sign up for one of the 6 trainings (25 per session), or plan to do the online training anytime between May 26th and May 30th.  Inspectors will pick up supplies between 9 am and 4 pm on Saturday, May 30th.
