The Hamilton County Health Department building access 

The Health Department has implemented procedures as a Healthcare facility specific to protect all clients, customers and staff entering the building.  Building Access and Program Access Polices will be in effect until further notice.  

Building Access:

The Health Department is following the CDC recommendations for Healthcare facilities.   

  1. Mask are required for public clinic areas (over 2yrs of age) until further notice. 
  2. Social Distancing will be identified and maintained in all lobby areas.

The Public Health Division of the Hamilton County Health Department provides health promotion and disease prevention to the residents of Hamilton County. Programs that provide these services include:
  • Communicable diseases investigation
  • Court ordered HIV counseling
  • Immunizations from birth through age 18
  • Lead screening/testing from age 6 months through 6 years
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Seasonal Influenza (Flu) clinics
  • Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) counseling
  • Tuberculosis (TB) basic skin course
  • Tuberculosis skin testing (Mantoux)
