Hamilton County residents can register online, by mail, or in person.
Register Online
If you are a Hamilton County resident and have a valid Indiana driver's license, you can register online.
Register By Mail
If you are a resident of Hamilton County you can register by mailing a completed voter registration form to the Hamilton County Voter Registration office; please use the mailing address above. You can obtain a voter registration form (PDF) online, from the locations listed below, or from any Public Library in Hamilton County. (Public Libraries do not accept the completed forms.)
Register In Person
If you are a resident of Hamilton County you can register by visiting one of the following locations at least 29 days before an election. You can obtain a voter registration form (PDF) online, from the locations listed below, or from any Public Library in Hamilton County. (Public Libraries and License Branches do not accept the completed forms.)

- Voter Registration Office, second floor suite 206, Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
- Any License Branch
- Any City or Town Clerk-Treasurer's office
- Any public assistance office (such as the Division of Family and Children)
Change of Address
If you are currently registered to vote in Hamilton county and have moved or changed your name, you can download the voter registration form (PDF), fill it out and mail it to our office. Each voter making a change will need to fill out a voter registration form. These changes must be postmarked 29 days prior to the election in order to be effective at the next election.
