The Courthouse section is part of the Civil Division and consists of 1 supervisor and 14 personnel. They are located in the Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center.
Responsibilities
The division is responsible for supplying security to all 8 courts as well as county offices located in both the Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center and the Historic Courthouse. Their primary responsibility is securing inmates for all types of court hearings. The staff are also responsible for assisting the election office.
Courthouse Security
When arriving at the courthouse you will be required to go through security. All persons and property are subject to search. All weapons are prohibited including guns, knives, and mace. Wheel chairs are available upon request, if needed.
