Staff will be demonstrating making maple syrup, and continue the Bray Family tradition on the property, which began more than 150 years ago. Traditional and modern equipment will be used to process syrup as well as information regarding the folklore, history, and science related to maple trees. During the tour, visitors will leisurely rotate through the Maple Grove, History Hut, Sugar Shack, and Sugar Shop – which takes about an hour.
Dragonwood Maple Syrup will be onsite with their locally-produced maple products. Other vendors will also be present with fun treats. Enter the park from the Hinkle Road parking lot. Groups will be picked up by our wagon and transported to the first station. Dress for the weather and potentially muddy conditions. The wagon picks up guests approximately every twenty minutes.
