New Satellite Locations Announced for June 2nd Primary Election
Residents Also Encouraged to Vote by Absentee Ballot
(NOBLESVILLE, APRIL 23, 2020)
The Indiana State Election Commission has approved in-person voting for the Primary Election on June 2nd. Early voting will take place May 26 to May 30 from 9AM-4PM at eight satellite locations throughout Hamilton County. Those locations include:
- CARMEL: Coxhall Mansion & Mercy Road Church (Coxhall Mansion NOT open on 5/30)
- FISHERS: Billericay Park & Fishers City Hall
- NOBLESVILLE: Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center & the Hamilton County Fairgrounds (Judicial Center also open June 1st from 8AM-NOON)
- WESTFIELD: Westfield City Hall & Westfield Public Safety Building
In-person voting will also be available on Election Day at your regular polling location from 6AM to 6PM. To ensure your safety, masks, gloves, and cleaning supplies will be provided for poll workers. We also encourage voters to wear masks and any other protective items they chose.
Absentee voting is also open to all registered voters without a reason. You can apply for an absentee ballot until May 21st at Indianavoters.com. Completed absentee ballots must be returned to the Election Office by June 2nd at noon to be counted.
“We still believe voting by mail is the safest way for many voters during this unprecedented time,” says Hamilton County Clerk Kathy Williams. “The health of our voters and staff is of the utmost importance.”
