Cicero, Indiana – Please be advised, effective on or after Monday, July 13, 2020, a 3-mile stretch of 236th Street will be closed in two separate phases for road rehabilitation, each for a period not to exceed 150 calendar days.
The first phase is from west of Devaney Road to east of Tollgate Road. This phase is scheduled to close Monday, July 13, 2020 through Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Motorists will be directed to use the signed detour route of 256th Street and SR-19 throughout construction, while all affected land owners will continue to have access to their properties.
The second phase is from west of Deming Road to west of Devaney Road. This phase will begin in Spring, 2021. A separate release will be forthcoming.
