[ARCHIVED] Voting Options - When and Where

Upcoming Election

On Election Day: November 3rd, 2020
Polls will be open from 6a-6p. Please remember to check your Voting Location for Election Day (Indiana Voter Portal). Bring your ID (Indiana Driver’s License, Indiana State ID, U.S. Passport, or U.S. Military ID). We request that voters wear masks and practice social distancing.

In-Person Early Voting: Occurring now through November 2nd 
There are 8 locations for early voting. Check here for locations and times: Vote Early - In Person.  We request that voters wear masks and practice social distancing. Voters at the Judicial Center will go through a security check point with a metal detector. Personal items are scanned and checked. Please leave questionable items at home.  

Vote By Mail:  Deadline to apply is October 22, 2020.
For the 2020 General Election; a registered voter in Hamilton County can vote absentee by mail if you meet one of 12 requirements.
We recommend you complete an online absentee application at https://indianavoters.in.gov/. You will not have to print, sign and return this application.
A downloadable version is available, but you must print, sign and return this version. Details are at: Vote Absentee 

Vote By Travel Board: 
If you are confined due to illness, the Travel Board can come to you. Check here for application deadline and details: Vote Absentee
