[ARCHIVED] Flu activity remains high

Influenza activity is increasing regionally throughout Indiana. Locally, several hospitals are restricting visitors due to this increase. At this time, the Hamilton County Health Department wants to remind residents that it is not too late to get your influenza shot. We encourage anyone who has not received their flu shot, to get one now. Our office continues to offer them at the days and times listed.

Adult Influenza Vaccine (19 years and older) – Is now available for ages 19 years and older. Flu shots will be given every Monday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at our office while supplies last. There is a $20.00 charge for the vaccine. We accept cash or credit/debit cards (with a small transaction fee). We do NOT file Medicare or private insurance at this time.

High dose flu vaccine for 65 years and older: We have a limited supply of this vaccine available. This will be available at the times listed above while supplies last for the same fee.

We use preservative free influenza vaccine. We do not have FluMist available.
