Hamilton County Health Department has tested and found a positive mosquito samples in areas of Westfield and Fishers. Weather permitting the Health Department is scheduling personnel to perform adult spray control measures Tuesday evening. Please look at the Mosquito Control web site for the latest updates and scheduled areas. Adult spraying will begin at approximately sunset (9 PM) and conducted within a one mile radius of the trap site. If you do not desire spray in your area please contact the Vector control program, we will make every effort to turn of spray applicators (engine continues to run) in the close vicinity of a no spray request.
Please dump water container sources and use mosquito repellent when outdoors at anytime of day, most active vector mosquito biting will occur from dusk to dawn.
