[ARCHIVED] WNV spray activity rescheduled for 8/23/17

The Health Department has tested new positive sites.  Municipal partners are assisting in some areas with spray activities.   Due to wind conditions scheduled spray for tonight will be postponed to the Wednesday 8/23.  Please monitor the Mosquito Control web site for the latest updates and scheduled areas.  Adult spraying will begin at approximately sunset (8:45 PM) and conducted within a one mile radius of the trap site.

If you do not desire spray in your area please contact the Vector control program, we will make every effort to turn off spray applicators (engine continues to run) in the close vicinity of a no spray request address.

West Nile Virus is active in the county, when outdoors please use mosquito repellents when outdoors at anytime of day, most active vector mosquito biting will occur from dusk to dawn.   Help reduce mosquito breeding sites by dumping water container sources.
