Each year, the sounding of the outdoor warning sirens in Hamilton County is suspended during cold weather to reduce maintenance costs. The sirens will be sounded for the last time of the season on Friday, November 2, at 11:00 am. Hamilton County Emergency Management will continue to facilitate daily and weekly testing of all other components of the system to ensure the sirens are operational. The outdoor warning siren system remains active and ready for immediate use year round.
