Brad Beaver was elected to the Hamilton County Council in 1994, making him the longest active re-elected County Councilor in Hamilton County. He is currently an At-Large member.
Beaver is a Noblesville native and a 1977 Miller grad. He attended Ivy Tech where he studied the heating and air conditioning trade. He has owned BeaverAir, Inc. since 1980.
Beaver served on the Hamilton County Zoning Appeals, prior to running for public office. Since becoming a County Councilor, he has served on various boards and committees including the Hamilton County Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, County Solid Waste Board, Personnel Committee, and Finance Committee. As a County Councilor, Beaver has been instrumental in financing the transformation of 146th Street into a major cross-county thoroughfare as well purchasing 750 acres in Noblesville and opening Strawtown Kotweei Park.
Beaver and his wife Trini have been married for 32 years. They have three adult children. Beaver has coached basketball at the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club. He is a member of the Elks Lodge #576 and White River Christian Church. In his spare time, Beaver enjoys “fixing old junk.” He has restored an old airplane, motorcycles, and a Model A hotrod.
